Intel is in your computer?

Ever wonder where the parts inside the computer from? Intel was formed in 1968 by founder Bill Noyce and Gordon Moore. This company provides computer manufacturers with internal parts for many years. Originally named NM Electronics, the company changed to Intel soon after forming.

The first 10 years after the establishment of Intel proved to be very busy and eventful. Intel's first product was manufactured, the 3101 Schottky bi polar random access memory, together with the firsteach metal oxide semiconductor static RAM, or otherwise known to as 1,101th Silicon chips were always very popular at this time, and Intel quickly became one of the leading companies in the manufacturing sector for this product. Other products that were produced at that time Intel integrated electronics, erasable ROM, global factories, expand product lines, high-level language development for microprocessors and thus part of one of the first PC's made, "bunny suits", the 8080-microprocessor, and the development"bubble memory".

The second decade proved to be just as profitable as the first. Listed on the Fortune 500 list in 1980, Intel has been working a mighty company, co-operation with DEC and Xerox on the Ethernet project. Perfect timing with the Local Area Networking Intel increasingly popular leading to a profitable account at IBM. Intel's 286-chip soon found its way into many computer systems. Then improve on current microprocessors, so they quickly and with less preformPower. By the end of the decade, they had already improved the 286, 386, and occurred in renaming the flash memory market.

By 1990 it had the name Intel, the world's largest supplier of semiconductors. It was then that Intel came up with their ever famous logo "Intel Inside". Moves along, it creates a different version of the name 486-processor. That was quick with another that was five times faster, cried Pentium replaced. Even that was replaced in 1977 with a Pentium II. Intelcreated a software program that allows system managers a stream-line approach for the management of computer networks.

By the 40th Anniversary of Moore's Law, a law whereby the number of transistors in a chip every two years should be increased, if the next decade, several new products such as Celeron processor, Pentium III and IV, wireless technology, Hyper-Threading Technology, Itanium, Xeon, Centrino, Viiv and Core 2 Duo processors. By 2006, Intel had its entire society with the new revisedMarketing strategies and a new logo, "Leap Ahead". The new logo is summarized Intel's new impetus for the future.

Today, Intel is still strong and has a part in most computer manufacturers. Personal computers, laptops, servers, workstations, Macs, and several types of processors for desktops and notebooks are just some of the products that have Intel parts.
